The closing kept being pushed back and there wasn’t a lot of communication with what was taking place. I would get calls at 6 pm on a weekend with items that were needed and was told there was a scramble to get me to closing.

Sometimes it felt like our deal wasn't being paid sufficient attention to until the very last minute, like it had been put at the bottom of a pile and brought back out a few days before closing. (But maybe this is normal, and I am ignorant about how these things typically go.) It seemed like last minute scrambling caused at least one important clerical error and lots of uncertainty and unnecessary stress. There were a few lapses in communication at critical moments that were also concerning. That said, I do appreciate Chris's hard work and that he really came through for us in the end. I'd definitely rate him above "acceptable" but since there were some glitches I can't rate at the top rating completely--somewhere in between "acceptable" and "excellent". I have a feeling it was transaction-specific, not Chris, that made it so difficult, but the gap in the middle of our process where nothing seemed to be getting done and the last-minute scrambling was very stressful
