I read everything and scrutinize details, but I am not a finance guru nor a frequent homebuyer (this was my first). Man Phan took no issue with me asking detailed questions, and I really appreciate that. Some people take questions as a personal affront, and that is not how they should be viewed. I enjoyed that Man made himself available and offered explanations that did not dodge or "talk over" my questions. Man Phan also made it very clear what was going on and what to expect in each step of the lending process. The framework used by PRMI made it very easy to provide documents, access lender documents and sign off when needed. I was very happy when I was able to review everything step by step (at my own pace and leisure) - and then find the same documents (and numbers) at closing. This made the entire process feel transparent.

Chris Frost and his underwriter did me wrong. When I first reached out to them I explained it was a complicated piece of property Chris assured me that they could handle it and I constantly stressed I had a time limit on the purchase agreement.Chris kept assuring me it was going to happen but towards the end he started ghosting me by not returning my calls or emails & his underwriter kept asking for more documentation such as utility bills and other account information. The purchase agreement expired because Frost Mortgage botched it up.I immediately reached out to another lender to see if I could qualify with them and maybe renegotiate with the owner.Nusenda was able to qualify me within 24 hours and were also perplexed as to why Frost Mortgage could not get me qualified in the amount of time that they had the application.Nuesenda commented that it was not a complicated decision. I had the income and the credit score and was using my VA loan benefit. According to mortgage loan officer at Nuesenda, there was no reason to deny me or ask for additional information, dragging things out until the purchase agreement expired.Frost Mortgage was negligent in not closing the deal after 3 months of wasting my time. I've lost family property because of their negligence.My fellow veterans and other New Mexicans, I am leaving this review in hopes that you will not get burned like I did by Chris Frost and his underwriter. Take your business elsewhere. I recommend Nuesenda. If I had started with Nusenda first I would have been able to hang on to the family's real estate.Frost Mortgage does not even deserve one star and I would rate them even less if it were possible.
